    Fabricator - 1st Shift Maintenance Department Reports to: Maintenance Manager $33-$38/hour based on experience We have an exciting opportunity for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. The Fabricator will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on all manufacturing equipment. A successful candidate will have a sense of urgency with a safety mindset. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components for equipment, guards, fixtures, and structural improvements. * Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs on machinery, conveyors, platforms, and facility infrastructure. * Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. * Perform MIG/TIG/Stick welding and cutting using torches, plasma cutters, and related tools. * Maintain and repair fabrication equipment such as welders, grinders, presses, and saws. * Assist with preventive maintenance activities and support broader maintenance team tasks. * Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, OSHA requirements, and company policies. * Collaborate with engineering or maintenance leadership to design cost-effective solutions for equipment improvements. * Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts used, and fabricated components. * Support emergency breakdown repairs as needed to minimize equipment downtime. REQUIREMENTS: * Able to perform work responsibilities safety and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations * Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner * 2-5 year experience in fabrication, welding, or industrial maintenance experience required * Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics * Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery * Overtime (hours worked beyond 40 per week) is a required component of this role and is considered an essential job function.
