Lays out, positions, and fits components together. Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in multiple welding positions and processes and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and precision in a heavy-plate manufacturing environment. The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welds on carbon steel and stainless steel using a variety of welding processes including FCAW in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions, as well as GTAW. This position involves the setup and operation of automatic, semi-automatic, and manual welding equipment. Welders are expected to follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure that all work meets Holtec's rigorous quality standards.
