TYPE OF POSITION: Variable hours part time – benefits after 1 year and 1456 hours worked.
Pay: $14.49-$16.00 DOE
Minimum Requirements:
- Successful housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to take direction and contribute to a team atmosphere.
- Good listening and English verbal communication skills.
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds, carry loads up stairs, and lift items overhead.
- Ability to provide quick service and maintain composure under stress.
- Have respect at all times to the staff.

- Assist in maintenance of housekeeping operations to maximize room revenue and guest satisfaction. Help coordinate with maintenance the cleaning of public areas.
- Train, supervise, motivate and help evaluate housekeeping crews. Ensure that our high standards are met and maintained by all employees.
- Be a "hands on" team leader and teach by example. Empower employees by listening to their suggestions and feedback.
- Develop highly efficient and well-trained staff through consistent and timely coaching of room cleaners, as needed.
- Cleaning in the rooms, cleaning the dust, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the floors in all the rooms, cleaning the bathroom mirrors, walls, tub, cabinet’s doors, frets, stoves, ovens and terraces. Replacement of the list of activities.
- Maintain clean, professional work areas. Wear a uniform to set an example.
- Develop interdepartmental communication to continuously improve our business.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding room maintenance and improvements.
- To answer guests' questions, be knowledgeable about property services and history and Lake Chelan opportunities.
- Act as a team member: show enthusiasm and help other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assume housekeeping supervisor duties as needed.
- Assume responsibility for your daily-assigned area, including associated room cleaners.
- Assume responsibility for final inspection and approval of guest rooms within your daily-assigned area.
- Clean rooms as required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a variable-hour position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends and holidays are also necessary. Must be flexible and willing to adapt schedule to meet business demands.
