The Regional Managing Attorney (RMA) will provide excellent management and supervision to attorneys and paralegals through mentoring, training, case reviews, co-counseling and general oversight of advocacy and outreach. The RMA will also oversee the implementation of grants awarded to their respective local office and will plan for grant project success, including working with administration to ensure grants are implemented, grant services are administered properly, staff bill to grants appropriately, and that grant funding is expended. The RMA will provide training and mentoring to new staff attorneys and paralegals and will ensure program case goals are met by regional office staff. The RMA provides regular regional office updates to executive management and participates in community groups and on community service boards and stakeholder groups. The RMA is responsible for completing timely evaluations for all staff attorneys, paralegals and office managers.
This position reports directly to the Advocacy Director.
Essential Functions
1. Leads, mentors and provides co-counseling on all advocacy and case filings in the assigned office. Must be an experienced litigator and advocate, preferably in one or more areas of law handled by FRLS staff.
2. Conducts regular reviews/discussions of individual advocates' cases and utilizes case data reports to recommend improved services depending on the needs of the office.
3. Reviews case opening memos all advocates in the office for compliance with priorities and full development of potential avenues of relief.
4. Reviews all substantial written work of advocates prior to filing and all written work of new advocates during probation.
5. Trains and mentors new advocates during their first year of practice (see Addendum for description of mentor duties).
6. Provides input, advice, and problem-solving to advocacy staff regarding their cases and issues or problems related to their clients.
7. Conducts regular, scheduled review of closed cases for compliance with case closing and requirements.
8. Manages case acceptance/assignment process, using regularly scheduled office meetings and/or other processes.
9. Ensures cases are regularly updated and stays informed about current work and workloads of advocates, adjusting work assignments as needed.
10. Regularly reviews cases where representation has been denied and to ensure justification for service denial.
11. Provides timely evaluation for all staff attorneys, paralegals and office managers in the office.
12. Plans and monitors an appropriate client outreach and education system and schedule as needed for the regional office.
13. Accepts, documents and resolves, at the first level, all client grievances and other complaints about service issues or denial of service by the local office.
14. Monitors and promotes accessibility of the local office to clients, including rural clients, non-English speaking clients and clients with disabilities.
15. Promotes good relations with public, including client groups, service providers, press and private bar, attending/speaking at local meetings and outreach events.
16. Participates in hiring process for regional office staff.
17. Participates in discipline of regional office staff and manages minor disputes between office staff.
18. Participates actively and constructively in legal work management meetings.
19. Provides timely reports and data upon request for grant applications and reports, fundraising, public relations and other program needs.
20. Ability to carry own caseload if necessary.
Requirements
1. Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.
2. Licensed to practice law in Florida.
3. Five years of excellent leadership and management history and proven ability to lead advocacy and support staff required.
4. Knowledge of State and Federal court practices required.
5. At least five years' experience preferred in state and federal litigation, preferably in the areas of consumer rights, public and employment benefits, housing, family/custody protection, farm worker law or immigration.
6. Ability to supervise and develop litigation skills of others and manage regional office under a business model to include management of client trust accounts, litigation calendars, pro bono coordination, community education and outreach and working with program administration to ensure office success.
7. Ability to forge positive relationships with prospects and colleagues.
8. Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Ability to work collaboratively, yet independently.
10. Must be able to effectively and efficiently maximize existing resources.
11. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
12. Experience using electronic case management system to maintain client files and track time a plus.
13. Familiarity working with bargaining unit staff and contracts a plus.
14. Must be able to effectively work in high-pressure situations, which involve deadlines.
15. Bilingual Spanish/Haitian Creole a plus.
16. A desire to serve low- income individuals and a dedication to program mission of service.
17. Ability and desire to work collaboratively with FRLS executive leadership.

Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this position is $85,000 and increases based on experience. FRLS Regional Managing Attorney primarily operates in-office but may be required to travel to various locations.

The purpose of this position is to provide civil legal assistance to Victims of Domestic Violence. The ideal candidate must have an extensive knowledge in Family law, three-five years' experience preferred.
Essential Functions
1. Interviews, certifies eligibility, and identifies the legal problems of FRLS clients within a specific area of law and provides clients with appropriate legal assistance in the form of advice, referrals, or actual representation.
2. Participates in outreach.
3. Represents clients in court and before administrative agencies as accepted.

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a FL or compact RN license and AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Position is in the Cath Lab unit of a short-term acute care, teaching hospital
Shift is four 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 to 17:00
On-call required during evenings and weekends
Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
Locals are accepted at the same rate
Charting is completed using Epic EMR
Scrub color is ceil blue
First-time travelers are accepted
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted up front; later requests are unlikely to be approved
Mandatory completion of time-sensitive onboarding modules upon assignment confirmation
Parking is free in any unrestricted space
Travelers cannot work more than 18 consecutive months at Cleveland Clinic locations and must wait six months before a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
Two professional references are required for consideration
Requirements
Active FL or compact RN license required
Minimum of 18 months RN experience prior to travel assignments, with 2 years preferred
AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
Nicotine free status is required and will be verified by testing
Pending license considered for this position

This position is responsible for providing civil legal assistance in the areas of housing and family law, offering representation and advocacy to individuals, families, and vulnerable communities in need of support.
Requirements
1. Interviews certify eligibility and identify the legal problems of FRLS clients within a specific area of law and provide clients with appropriate legal assistance in the form of advice, referrals, or actual representation.
2. Participates in community outreach and education.
3. Represents clients in court and before administrative agencies as accepted.
4. Provides documentation, statistical information and other records as required by the Managing Attorney, Deputy Director, or Executive Director.
5. Participates in case acceptance meetings.
6. Participates in training to keep up CLE's and required and legally relevant training as may be provided by the program and as mandated by Florida Bar rules.
7. Adheres to office hours, exhibits a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills, communicates, and treats clients and staff with courtesy and respect, provides constructive feedback to other advocates (paralegals) on cases discussed.
8. Serves as a role model to support staff by promoting the values of hard work, high quality advocacy and treating others with courtesy and respect.
9. Attempts to ensure accessibility of the local office(s) when necessary, by serving clients, including rural clients, non-English speaking clients and client with disabilities.
10. Promotes good relations with the public, including client groups, service providers, press, and private bars, attending/speaking at local meetings as appropriate and approved by the Managing Attorney, Deputy Director and/or Executive Director.
11. Is familiar with FRLS policies, as well as requirements of LSC and other funders, and adheres to those policies and requirements.
12. Maintain an accurate follow-up system to review cases when needed.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
1. Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.
2. Barred in Florida.
3. Knowledge of State and Federal court practices required.
4. Some knowledge of the legal system, commitment to the mission of FRLS and
compassion for the clients.
5. Ability to forge positive relationships with prospects and colleagues.
6. Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively, yet independently.
8. Must be able to effectively and efficiently be able to maximize existing resources.
9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of CMS a plus.
10. Must be able to effectively work in high-pressure situations, which involve deadlines.
11. Bilingual Spanish/Haitian Creole preferred but not required.

Physical requirements

Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this position is $68,000, which is based on a union scale and adjusted upward depending on experience. Responsibilities
Work in a short-term acute care hospital's Stepdown/PCU unit
Teaching hospital environment with a 332-bed capacity
Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 6:45 to 19:15
Patient care includes cardiac cases with familiarity in managing cardiac drips required
Use of Epic EMR is required, with intermediate to advanced proficiency (level 3 or 4)
Floating within the scope of practice across three area hospitals within 20 miles is required
Scrub color required is white
Responsible for providing advanced patient care and monitoring in a progressive care (stepdown) setting
Completion of time-sensitive online modules is required prior to assignment
EKG and pharmacology tests will be administered during orientation with two attempts allowed for each
Assignment cannot exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a six-month break is required before returning
Return-to-work eligibility requires a one-year break after permanent or per diem employment at the facility
All requested time off must be provided up front; additional requests will not be approved
The facility maintains a smoke-free environment for all travelers
Free parking is available in any unrestricted space

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience and ICU experience required
