Job Description: Quality pallet checker: Verify all cases have been located, selected, and strategically placed on pallets and shrink wrapped for stability. When necessary remove and/or add cases of product that are missing from the pallet (about 30 lbs) Using a 2500+ lb. electric pallet jack, move pallets of product throughout the warehouse in a safe manner, following all OSHA safety regulations. Conduct daily inspections of all equipment. Label and seal product with shrink-wrap in preparation for transport if needed. Maintain warehouse and clean areas as directed. Essential Responsibilities: Count all pallets for accuracy that are built by pickers.Use the handheld device to scan pallet tag and verify all cases are accounted for.Get with individual pickers to fix any mistakes they made while building the pallet.Must be able to operate a 2500+ lb. electric pallet jack and maintain all safety standards.
Place pallets of products in areas designated by Warehouse Manager (must use best judgement based on most recent instructions.), moving pallets in a safe, orderly manner.
Thoroughly shrink wrap pallets when needed in preparation for transport, prioritizing as directed by the Warehouse Manager. Seal to ensure no slippage.
Must be on time for work, shifts, and breaks so that the warehouse runs efficiently.
Be respectful and courteous to co-workers, management, and vendors.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Ability and willingness to work flexible hours (10 to 12 hour work day) - Part time hours to be determined with Warehouse Manager approval.
Proven ability to safely operate job-related equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, etc.) - some jobs may require training certification.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to read load sheets and verify cases on pallets
On occasion have the ability to move products weighing up to 30 pounds.On occasion have the ability to carefully stack inventory and move it as required.

Should the physical result in a questionable outcome, GCED will engage the employee in negotiations to determine if the employee can be reasonably accommodated within business guidelines.WORKING CONDITIONSThis job requires employees to work inside and outside of a large warehouse. Air conditioning and coolers make the warehouse cool to work in. We are seeking qualified, responsible drivers for route deliveries. Excellent Pay and Benefits!
Drives company-owned commercial tractor trailer trucks, transporting goods to multiple client sites in one day. Verifies load at pick-up to ensure each order is complete. Schedules deliveries in an efficient manner, making the most benefit of time and traffic. Delivers and stocks products as per each clients' specifications. Completes paperwork required for delivery, and ensures the client receives their copy. Client service focus. Communicates to applicable departments on a timely basis about the client's status and requirements to fulfill GCED recommendations.
Essential Responsibilities
Minimum lifting of 35,200 lbs. daily, in total.
Operate class A vehicle / tractor trailer.
Operate electric pallet jack.
Local delivery (Sarasota and Manatee counties).
Deliver and rotate products.
Previous sales route experience a plus.
Complete and submit on a timely basis all required administrative paperwork.
Skills and Qualifications
Able to maintain a safe driving record
7 year CDL driving history
CDL Class A license is required
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours.
Proven ability to safely operate job-related equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, etc.)
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Strong internal and external customer service focus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain professional, respectful relationships.

Working Conditions
The job requires this employee to drive a Company tracker trailer, transporting goods in accordance with client's orders. Lifting and carrying goods or forklift/dolly from the vehicle to the retail site, then to the client's cooler, which may have hazards such as a wet floor, wires, etc. This employee is expected to use caution at all times while on the job.
Physical Requirements
Pass a Pre-employment drug screen, background check and Company physical (see below)
Ability to get the job done both inside (air conditioning) and outside (Florida heat) with extreme temperature swings.
