This role is responsible for the production, modification, and delivery of ITS/TSM&O deliverables. Deliverables and duties include: * The development and modification of engineering plans and specifications. * Research, development, calculations, design, and delivery of various ITS and TSMO-related tasks. Tasks such as ITS Maintenance Funding Formulas, RTMC Staffing calculations, and software enhancements to the Department's ATMS - SunGuide. * Engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for complex and cross-discipline projects. * ITS portions of Statewide documents such as the Florida Design Manual (FDM), the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (SSRBC), RTMC Standard Operating Guidelines, and the FDOT's TSM&O Strategic Plan. * Supporting the evaluation of ITS and Traffic Control Products at the State's Traffic Engineering Research Laboratory (TERL).
