Responsibilities * Conduct behavioral assessments, design and implement measurable, evidence-based goals across environments (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland) while maintaining insurance standards and deadlines * Supervise, train and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) * Implement and supervise behavior data collection systems for continuous evaluation based on payor requirements and authorizations * Conduct regular parent training and consultation based on payor requirements and authorizations * Participate in weekly clinical meetings and monthly staff-wide trainings * Communicate with insurance companies and other care providers * Stay current on research and evidence-based practices * Maintain accurate "CAQH" profile and NPI * Collaborate with other disciplines, medical providers, and educators * Manage electronic data collection system and store all records in the EMR * Perform accurate billing practices in the electronic practice management system and complete documentation of services promptly * Adhere strictly to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's Code of Ethics Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Responsibilities * Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility. * Treatment and Education: Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain. Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, and body mechanics to aid recovery, prevent injuries, and offer guidance on home routines and lifestyle changes. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. * Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed. Qualifications * Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. * Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible * Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach. * Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy. Qualifications * Education: Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school. * Certification: Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). * Licensure: Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. * Experience: Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting (hospital, clinic, school, etc.) is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
