Full-time, Temporary Description
TYPICAL SHIFT: Tuesday - Friday, 5:00am - 3:30pm (ending time varies depending on when route is complete - usually 10-12 hour shifts)
Partners with a Delivery Driver and works as a team to provide exceptional customer service to all accounts with product delivery and merchandising. Assists driver with delivery of product merchandising within large volume stores. While at the account, duties include stocking shelves, rotating product, setting up displays, cooler stocking, product rotation, storage room organization, and the efficient movement of product from storage to the sales floor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with deliveries to all scheduled accounts while adhering to all applicable driving and safety regulations.
Unload and move product repetitively using appropriate equipment throughout shift while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Stock all windows, cold boxes, coolers, shelves and displays in retail accounts quickly and efficiently as directed by the Route Driver.
Rotate product to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Effectively communicate issues and opportunities to the Route Driver or Supervisor as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow monthly PFP objectives
Complete other duties as assigned by the Route Driver, Supervisor, or Director of Delivery Operations

Adhere to all applicable Federal, state, and local regulations regarding the merchandising of alcoholic beverages.
Maintain a valid Montana driver's license and clean driving record
Does not abuse equipment and maintain company property such as Company vehicles.

Represent Summit Beverage in a professional and appropriate manner.
Display effective interpersonal communication (supplier, employee, customer).
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all areas of responsibility to ensure quality of work.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships; and
Show sound judgment, decision-making, and accountability.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous grocery, retail, or beverage experience a plus.
Valid Montana driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as appropriate.
Ability to lift/carry/move 50-60 lbs. (maximum of 160 lbs.).
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.).
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to handle wide range of tasks.
Understand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.
Physical and Other Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of four 10-hour days Tuesday - Friday, with rotating Saturdays. The shifts, end times, and total hours worked may vary depending on the season and amount of deliveries, sometimes exceeding 10 hours.

SUMMARY
Loads, unloads, and moves materials and products from delivery truck by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Rides inside the cab of a delivery truck and loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, hand truck, forklift and/or electric pallet jack, as appropriate. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Conveys materials between truck and designated loading and delivery area. Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management. Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
Presents professional and well groomed appearance to customers and market place. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
