ODOT District 4 is now accepting applications for Highway Technician 1 Seasonal Employees in Ashtabula, Mahoning, Portage, Stark, Summit & Trumbull Counties.
This position will be a temporary unclassified appointment with a maximum of 1000 hours. (May be expected to work up to 40 hours per week based on operational need.)
What You Will Do:
• You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer• You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, trimming• You will perform snow & ice operations• Perform minor repairs & maintenance on equipment
