Perform quality maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-duty vehicles, and any company-owned equipment.
Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely, and efficiently.
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including but not limited to engines, transmissions and clutches, drive-line, differential, steering and suspension, fuel and ignition system, exhaust systems (including regeneration systems), intake systems, electrical systems, brake systems, HVAC systems and lift-gate hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
Follow procedures including documenting all work performed on work orders.
Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs

Knowledge of controls and electric (DC (distribution center) low voltage

Long Term Maintenance No Per Diem Work Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM Must pass pre-employment physical and background Must be familiar with tools and consumables. Have the ability to hand out and receive both tools and welding wire. Knowledgeable in repairing tools. Ability to order consumables and tools and to maintain a log of distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Stores, removes, loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that can't be handled by material handling devices.
* Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves.
* Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
* Assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size type, style, or color.
* Moves materials and supplies from warehouse and prepares for delivery.
* Fills requisition, work orders or request for materials, tools or stock items.
* Records material items received or distributed.
* May maintain inventory records.
* Perform routine housekeeping task to maintain work area.
* Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines.
* Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.
1. Ensure the safety of all personnel working in the Shop & Toolroom (STR) 2. Participate in Job Hazard Analysis Process 3. Work in a safe, quality, and efficient manner via the Work Order system. 4. Ship and Receive items in conjunction with Company's Shipping/Receiving Procedure 5. Help Expedite shipments of tools and materials to the jobsite 6. Know how, and be able to, inspect and repair tools and Toolroom equipment 7. Know how, and be able to, inventory and restock tool trailers and gangboxes 8. Organize and complete documentation on Inspections and Maintenance of Tools and Equipment 9. Help issue, receive, and monitor tools and consumables 10. Help organize and keep clean the Toolroom work area 11. Assist STR Lead personnel in the completion of Work Orders, specifically, but not necessarily associated with the Toolroom 12. Provide suggested improvements to Company Policies and Procedure
QUALIFICATIONS
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
