In addition to academic advising and a career services center, there are numerous other forms of support for students of different backgrounds. For example, there is a women's services center specifically designed to provide academic and emotional support to female students. There is also a wellness center, a massage therapy clinic and a prevention services program for those at risk for substance abuse. In addition to tuition payment plans, the College of Lake County offers federal work-study, loans, grants and scholarships to eligible students needing financial assistance.
