First shift. The primary purpose of this job is to perform technical functions related to the production of batteries and capacitors. This position is responsible for the setup, inspection, data analysis and troubleshooting related to various technical production functions around testing, destruction analysis and machine operations. This position will follow standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations under limited supervision
Key Accountabilities:
1. Adheres to Integer values and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
2. Sets up and runs experiments and/or test apparatus following clear instructions. Operates some or all of the following: electrical test stations and software, cathode printing equipment and software, microscopes, micrometer, retical, metallograph, scales, data recording software, OCV meters, cameras, XRF, laser marker, plasma cleaner, spot welder or other measuring devices.
3. Performs failure analysis, initial troubleshooting and repairs including but not limited to checking system accuracy, carriers and racks are properly functioning, and calibrations Handles rack check operations.
4. Performs routine product analysis using standard procedures making accept/reject decisions based on product documents.
5. Compiles and summarizes results of tests for evaluation by engineering support teams.
6. Manages visual inspection processes on routine parts to confirm product quality. This includes decision on pass/fail of product quality.
7. Complies and completes documentation including but not limited to: reports, RMAs, DIRs, SDRs, LDRs, cell codes, work orders, SOKs to required specifications and procedures based on product type.
8. Handles 5S cleaning of all equipment outlined in #2 to ensure long term equipment and product quality.
9. Performs other functions as required
Minimum Education:
High school graduate. Associate's Degree preferred but not required.
Minimum Experience:
3 years of Integer related work experience and/or 5 years of experience in a regulated industry required. Experience mixing chemicals preferred
Specialized Knowledge:
Ability to read technical drawings/prints. Computer operation skills. Mechanical aptitude. Product knowledge helpful.
Special Skills:
Good organizational and communication skills. Strong computer skills. Detail oriented, organized and demonstrates the ability to work both independently and as a team.
Salary 17.30- 25.38 per hour

Powell Service Division is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Service Technician interested in joining one of the nation's leading providers of medium and low voltage switchgear. Powell Service Technicians are responsible for ensuring the end to end safety, quality and performance of Powell equipment across the US and Canada. This includes performing installations, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and periodic supervision of small crews. Senior service technicians are expected to service the west coast, gulf coast south, offshore and east coast service regions. Key Responsibilities
Adhere to Powell's current safety and quality standards
Complete all site documentation in in a timely manner; including but not limited to, weekly time sheets, signed service and repair order, materials used and report writing.
Provide regular and clear communication regarding work schedule to Field Operations Scheduler and District Service Manager
Maintain flexible work hours, which will include over time and periodic weekend support

Job Requirements
The Senior Service Technician must possess a high school diploma, as well as three or more years' experience, as a shop and / or field electrical / technician.
Senior Service Technicians must exhibit knowledge of Electrical Industry manufacturing standards.
Specific standards include sections of ANSI IEEE C37 applicable to the design and manufacture of breakers and switchgear.
Specific knowledge of the following: ANSI IEEE device function numbers; ampacities of electrical conductors in switchgear applications; electrical air and surface creepage clearance requirements.
Demonstrate knowledge in the design and manufacture of bus and structural modification projects.
Powell also requires that all Service Technicians undergo Factory Certified Technician training and maintain a passing grade.
The Senior Service Technician must be experienced in the art of writing accurate and complete test reports, project summaries and has the ability to explain anomalies found on a given project.
Knowledge of basic electrical theory and control circuits i.e.: Ohm's Law; Basic AC and DC theory; contactor and circuit breaker schematics are a must.
The Senior Service Technician must be able to perform of hi-pot testing and breaker function testing. i.e.: testing of over-current and motor protection relays with current injection; acceptance testing of dielectric apparatus using over voltage testing; mechanical and electrical functional testing of circuit breakers and electrical switchgear.
The Senior Service Technician will also be expected to demonstrate proficiency with computer skills using Oracle, MS Outlook, Power DB, Word & Excel.
Additional requirements include but are not limited to:
Working knowledge with using the following test equipment: Hi potential, DLRO, Multi-meter, dial caliper.
Must demonstrate working knowledge with the use of various hand tools and mechanical adaptability.
Must have verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in problem solving is a preferred.
Willing to attend in-house and out-side training.
Willing to travel up 85% of the year.
Demonstrate ability to read and interpret plan sets and one-line diagrams.

What you'll do in this role:
The primary purpose of this job is to lead site Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) initiatives to meet and exceed site and company goals. This will be achieved by leading compliance and improvement projects focused on the development and implementation of proactive EHSS systems to ensure the health and safety of all associates and visitors.

* Providing EHSS leadership to the facility by serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on EHSS matters to include review, interpretation and summarization of EHSS regulations and standards to provide guidance to site associates.
* Serving as the EHSS leader on the Plant Leadership Team by providing EHSS input and contributions to the overall development of annual goals and objectives.
* Ensuring site compliance with applicable local, county, state and country EHSS regulations and standards This accomplished through the development and implementation of policies, procedures, training, reports, permits, registrations, required monitoring, or other best practices, as required.
* Leading the execution of the EHSS-related imperatives reflected in the site Hoshin Plan by developing, implementation and leading, when required, sustained Continuous Improvement processes.
* Creating and adhering to an EHSS budget focused on safety equipment, supplies and services including Industrial Hygiene testing, occupational testing and compliance reporting.
* Focusing on the development of talent through individual growth and development plans driven by organizational succession plans.

* Supervising EHSS staff (depending on site organization) or support personnel as required.
* Providing direction and support for onsite Medical Services (depending on site organization) as well as compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to injury reporting and medical care.
* Performing other duties as required.
Champions EHSS Excellence
* Leads the EHSS program by supporting site associates focused on EHSS engagement goals including safety committees/teams, ergonomics, management safety audits, recurring EHSS inspections, Behavioral Based Safety (BBS), and special skills/certifications.
* Promotes associate safety engagement by encouraging submittal of observations and suggestions; and reporting near-miss incidents.
* Independently assesses new equipment and chemicals by reviewing all possible options and recommends the best option based on EHSS principles and concepts focused on reducing risk.
* Manages the investigation and assessment of incidents and work-related injuries to determine root cause. Tracks EHSS corrective actions for prioritization, completion, and effectiveness.
* Conducts and coordinates EHSS internal self-assessments, as well as internal or external inspections, and reviews, summarizes site EHSS status, develops recommendations, and coordinates activities as needed to maintain compliance with EHSS requirements.
