Job Summary: We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and minor construction tasks in commercial buildings. This role ensures that our clients' facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building systems, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Hours: A typical workweek is Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30 PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines; May require weekend or evening work at times.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, and finishes).
Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Complete repairs such as door hardware adjustments, ceiling tile replacement, light fixture maintenance, drywall patching, and minor carpentry.
Coordinate with subcontractors or vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and daily reports.
Assist project managers and superintendents with warranty work and post-construction punch lists.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Communicate with clients and office staff regarding project status, timelines, and needed materials.
Support seasonal maintenance programs and emergency repair requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade certification in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities support, preferably in a construction or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, and safety equipment.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and manuals.
Basic understanding of OSHA safety regulations and site safety practices.
Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
Good record-keeping and time management skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites as needed.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Forklift or heavy equipment operation certification.

GE is searching for a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator responsible for operating various excavation equipment as specified by supervisor. The qualified candidate works on construction projects in an equipment operator capacity, however, will also serve in a utility (laborer) capacity, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Assist in the loading / unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments and properly securing work area.
Excavates trenches for and around new and existing utilities, observing safety rules, often with workers in trench.
Checks slopes using instruments such as lasers, grade rods or transit level.
Ensures work is completed to specification by observing grade stakes, material levels, hand signals and other markers. .
Assists in aligning pipes during pipeline construction for water, storm and sanitary sewer.
Grades and level trench bases, using tamping machine and hand tools.
Connects pipes and seals joints using glue, cement, gaskets and / or flanges.
Effectively completes excavation and related tasks such as backfilling excavations and breaking concrete or rock using appropriate equipment.
Covers pipes using equipment and shovels with earth material / aggregates.
Performs daily inspection and ensures that machine is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
Reports to foreman and shop when equipment needs maintenance and repair.
Ability to safely identify utilities in the trench/bore path.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet) and able to perform work on uneven surfaces.
Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite.
Works closely with crewmembers using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
Must excavate around utility lines with precision to avoid damage to lines and ensure safety of personnel in trench.
Places and removes trench boxes safely.
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination and stamina necessary to complete jobs with various conditions and terrains.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds and push / or pull 50 pound loads at a time.

Aircraft wash and corrosion control operations on the B-1 aircraft's structural, avionics, hydraulic, electrical, and propulsion systems.
Inspect and repair structural components, both on and off, the aircraft utilizing metal, plastic, and advanced composite materials within the scope and qualification of the CFT.
Communicate and coordinate with the appropriate AMU the need for required parts/components needed to effect required repairs as expeditiously as possible.

Perform shift work and/or overtime as required
Requisition repair parts, materials, and consumable supplies through military supply system.
Perform other tasks as directed.
Preferred Personnel Qualifications:
Three or more years' B-1 maintenance experience
10 years or more of Organizational, Intermediate, and/or Depot level maintenance
3 or more years previously certified Aircraft Safe for Flight
Experienced in Aircraft, Engine, ALSS, Egress, Armament, and Support Equipment Logbooks and Records entries.
Advanced Corrosion Control Course/Paint and Final Finish
Basic Personnel Qualifications:
Three or more years' aviation maintenance experience
Basic Corrosion Control Course
Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift required
Must be able to work flexible work week if required
Must be able to climb ladders, raised platforms, and aircraft.
Must be able to use hand and power tools.
Must have dexterity to handle small parts.
Must be able to deploy to support off station exercises and perform other support duties as assigned.
Must complete screening through Access National Agency Check with written Inquiries (ANACI) resulting in eligibility for a SECRET clearance which shall be required of employees
Must be eligible for Common Access Card (CAC)

$39.71/hour

Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees who opt out of group health insurance receive $4.90/hour paid up to 40 hours per week. Employees are able to enroll in KAI's 401k plan; the Company will contribute $1.50 per hour paid up to 40 hours per week. Employees will vest on their anniversary date 104 hours of Annual PTO. KAI employees at Ellsworth AFB have 11 paid holidays.
Employment is contingent on (a) your ability to provide appropriate proof of your identity and eligibility to work in the United States; (b) your references and any background check being satisfactory to the Company; (c) you successfully passing a pre-employment drug test; and (d) your ability to get a required clearance by your effective start date, if needed; and (e) KAI commencing performance on this contract.
