Overview
The University of Akron is seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Faculty member to join its College of Health and Human Sciences. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching assigned courses on a part-time basis for an appointed term. Responsibilities**
* Fulfill teaching responsibilities of assigned courses for an appointed term
* Develop and implement course materials and curriculum
* Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
* Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance
* Participate in departmental meetings and other university activities as needed
Qualifications
* Master's degree with relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree with eighteen discipline-related graduate credit hours
* Strong teaching and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
