Adjunct Faculty - School of Nursing

Overview:
The University of Alaska Anchorage School of Nursing is seeking innovative, energetic professionals to contribute to our nursing education and clinical programs. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will develop and deliver instructional materials, provide guidance and support to students, and work effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Responsibilities:

* Develop and deliver instructional materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments, in the clinical/skills lab or simulation settings in accordance with program curriculum and learning objectives

* Provide guidance and support to students, including mentoring, advising, and clinical assistance

* Work effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds

* Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

* Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to program development and improvement

Qualifications:

* Must hold a minimum of Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing

* Must be eligible for and maintain unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska

* Clinical experience required in one of the following areas: Community Health, Psych/Mental Health, OB, Medical Surgical/Critical Care

* Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing and experience in additional clinical specialty
