Overview:


The School of Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the broad area of Applied Psychological Science. We are interested in candidates whose research can complement and extend applied psychological science, including traditional and emerging research in fields such as I-O and Engineering Psychology.
Responsibilities:

* Conduct cutting-edge research leveraging technology to enhance the human condition

* Excel in graduate and undergraduate education

* Have the potential or proven ability to secure external funding

* Collaborate effectively within and beyond the School of Psychology

* Demonstrate a strong sense of leadership, commitment to service, and a commitment to teaching excellence and student mentorship

Qualifications:

* PhD in psychology (e.g., Industrial-Organizational, Engineering Psychology, Human Factors) or a related field

* Strong record of academic accomplishments commensurate with current academic rank

* Ability to secure external research funding

* Knowledge, skills, ability, and motivation to build interdisciplinary collaborations

* Ability to mentor and assist students interested in pursuing graduate education

* Ability to design and teach curricula that are responsive to a distinct student body

* Ability to adopt teaching strategies that support the learning and success of all students

* Ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success
