Mechanical Project Manager

Overview:
Southern Air, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing designated projects to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities:

* Works with vendors to obtain submittals, project closeout, warranties, and spare parts

* Develops and maintains relationships with clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and vendors

* Schedules, assigns, and directs the work of project staff

* Supervises construction efforts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company processes, and policies

* Participates in pre-bid job site inspections, project-related meetings, and job start-up and close-out meetings

* Manages projects to completion to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness

* Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

* Overall knowledge of the construction process

* Journeyman or Master's Card or a college degree in building construction field of study

* Good oral and written communication skills and computer literacy

* Ability to work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills

* Ability to pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required
