Adjunct, Anthropology

Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct, Anthropology to facilitate student learning and mastery of core learning outcomes in our Anthropology department. As an Adjunct, you will have the opportunity to infuse multicultural and diverse perspectives into the instructional process, model open-minded inquiry, and cultivate creative problem-solving.
Responsibilities:

* Facilitate student mastery of core learning outcomes using relevant and scholarly tools and practices

* Actively engage students in critical thinking, meta-cognitive processes, and essential communication skills

* Infuse multicultural and diverse perspectives into the instructional process

* Model and cultivate open-minded inquiry, appreciation for diverse perspectives, and creative problem-solving

* Maintain currency in academic discipline and pedagogy

* Submit syllabi and instructional materials in a timely manner

* Maintain regular communication with students and use the Student Success Alert notification process

* Assess student work in a timely manner and submit course grades by the posted deadline

* Use technology to enhance pedagogical standards of delivery and student learning

Qualifications:

* Appropriate training and experience in Anthropology

* Ability to infuse multicultural and diverse perspectives into the instructional process

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to adapt to changing technology and pedagogical standards

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
