25-26 AY Temporary Faculty Pool (Lecturer) - Dance

Overview:


The California State University, Fresno is seeking a dynamic and experienced Dance Lecturer to join our temporary faculty pool for the 2025-2026 academic year. As a member of our faculty, you will be expected to teach undergraduate dance courses, contribute to the development of our dance program, and engage with our diverse student body.
Responsibilities:

* Teach undergraduate dance courses, including lecture and lab components

* Develop and maintain a high-quality curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives

* Engage with students, colleagues, and the broader academic community through service and professional development activities

* Participate in departmental meetings and committee work

* Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance

* Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and programs

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Dance or a closely related field from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent

* Demonstrated commitment to excellence built on merit, talent, diversity, accessibility, and equal opportunity for all

* Preferred qualifications include a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, prior teaching experience, and successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level
