Part-Time Sociology Faculty

Overview:
Western Kentucky University (WKU) is seeking part-time faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Sociology at our Glasgow campus. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse academic community and contribute to the educational experience of our students.
Responsibilities:

* Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Sociology, including day and evening classes

* Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments

* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

* Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance

* Engage in departmental and university service activities

Qualifications:

* A master's degree in Sociology (or a closely related field) for teaching undergraduate-level courses; a terminal degree is required for teaching graduate-level courses

* Prior teaching experience and experience with online education is desirable

* Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences
