Overview:
Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor of Adult Education to teach WAGE (Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy) classes at Brickeys Prison in Lee County.
Responsibilities:
* Teach workforce preparation classes using a statewide Adult Ed curriculum arranged in the Canvas learning management system
* Offer classes 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 am - 12 noon
* Use a statewide Adult Ed curriculum and teach students in a prison setting
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and a current Arkansas Department of Education teacher's license required
* Three (3) years teaching experience, preferred
* A Master's Degree in a related field may be substituted for teacher licensure with the understanding certification in Adult Education must be obtained within three (3) years of the hire date
Benefits:
* $25/hour salary
