Theology teacher job description
Overview:
Saint Joseph's University's Department of Theology and Religious Studies is seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses in Christian Theology. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching college undergraduates and be familiar with the University's mission as Jesuit and Catholic.
Responsibilities:
* Teach a specified course/language (face-to-face, hybrid, or online course(s))
* Prepare course materials
* Provide support and guidance to students
* Keep posted office hours (1 hr per course)
* Give prompt, regular feedback to students about their academic performance
* Report mid-semester and final grades electronically
Qualifications:
* Master's Degree in Theology or a closely related major
* Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling
* ABD or PhD in any theological subdiscipline preferred
* Previous teaching experience preferred
