Senior Web Developer (Part-time) - Staff Pool

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our team at Houston Community College (HCC). As a Senior Web Developer, you will play a central role in the development and maintenance of our website and online applications.
Responsibilities:

* Direct technology projects through all stages of the project life cycle from planning, development, and production

* Communicate and collaborate with varied personalities in a diverse educational environment

* Develop and administer complex websites and applications using web development tools

* Design and build multimedia products for multiple platforms using multimedia authoring tools

* Develop and administer content management systems

* Provide training and support to faculty in the production of course materials for online delivery

Qualifications:

* Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience and at least one (1) year of programming experience in a web-based environment

* Experience in both Windows and Macintosh environment

* Experience administering learning management systems such as WebCT and Blackboard Vista

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Production, Instructional Technology or related field required; eight (8) years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
