Lecturer Pool in Department of Environmental Science & Management (Academic Year 25/26)

Overview:


The Department of Environmental Science & Management at Cal Poly Humboldt is seeking a temporary lecturer pool to teach a variety of courses in environmental science and management. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service, and will be evaluated based on their effectiveness in these areas.
Responsibilities:


* Teach a variety of courses in environmental science and management, including introductory courses, upper division courses, and laboratory courses

* Develop and teach new courses as needed

* advise undergraduate students in the major

* participate in departmental and university service activities

* maintain office hours and be available for student consultation

Qualifications:


* Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with relevant academic or professional experience

* Successful teaching experience, academic or professional work related to environmental science and management

* Evidence of teaching effectiveness and student success
