The Department of ART+FILM at Cal Poly Humboldt is seeking a pool of qualified Lecturers to teach a variety of courses in Art Education, Art History, Art Studio, Digital Media, Film, Museum & Gallery Practices, Photography, and Sculpture. The department offers undergraduate programs in Fine Arts, Art Studio, Art History & Museum Studies, Art Education, Film, and Certificate programs in Museum and Gallery Practices.
Responsibilities:

* Teach a variety of courses in Art Education, Art History, Art Studio, Digital Media, Film, Museum & Gallery Practices, Photography, and Sculpture

* Develop and maintain course materials and syllabi

* Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

* Participate in departmental and university service and activities

* Maintain a professional and inclusive teaching environment

Qualifications:

* Master's degree or equivalent in the specific subject matter of the course(s) being taught, with a terminal degree (MFA, MA, or PhD) preferred

* Demonstrated teaching experience and success, with a minimum of 5 years preferred

* Evidence of mastery/competency in the specific subject matter of the course(s)

* Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures
