Special Education Teacher

Overview:


We are seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher to join our Wilmington High School ELS Program for the 2025-2026 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing instructional support to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:

* Provide individualized instructional support to students with special needs

* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and other stakeholders

* Facilitate educational progress and growth of students with special needs

* Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement accommodations and modifications for students with special needs

* Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

Qualifications:

* Professional Educator License with Endorsement as Learning Behavior Specialist I

* Meets the highly qualified requirements as a special education teacher for the grade level/core academic subject area(s) in which the teacher is assigned
