Overview:
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and Criminology to teach a wide range of courses in our undergraduate curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong research agenda and be able to teach online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes.
Responsibilities:
* Teach online or face-to-face formats at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral level
* Work positively with faculty, staff, students, and the community
* Mentor students across the curriculum
* Conduct and disseminate scholarly research
* Serve the department, the university, and the community
* Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
* PhD (or completed all PhD requirements before employment commences) in Criminology; Criminal Justice, or a closely related field
* A JD is not sufficient for this position and will not be considered
* Preferred qualifications include teaching experience in multiple modalities, a research agenda that allows for publication and funding, experience working on and preparing funded research projects, and experience mentoring or supervising graduate students
