Life Science Core Lecturer Pool LS 30A/B

Overview:


The Life Sciences Core Education Department at UCLA maintains a pool of applicants for instructional lecturer positions. Applications are invited for faculty positions as full- and part-time Lecturers, which will be available during the 2025-2026 academic year. The course for which we are currently searching for a lecturer is LS30A/B - Mathematics for Life Scientists.
Responsibilities:


Teach large undergraduate lecture courses in-person; plan and coordinate discussion activities for multiple sections of courses; supervise course teaching assistants; maintain office hours; and attend instructor meetings.
Qualifications:


Basic qualifications include a Ph.D. in a quantitative biology field or a mathematical field, and the ability to teach in-person, undergraduate courses.
