Elementary School Teacher (Grades 3-5)

Overview:


We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in providing students with a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the requirements of the district's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required

* Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned

* Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing and assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned

* Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and manage student behavior in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook

* Establish and maintain a professional relationship and open communication with parents, students, colleagues, and community members

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

* Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned

* Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

* One year student teaching or approved internship

* Knowledge of core academic subject assigned, curriculum and instruction, and ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
