Paraprofessional

Overview:


The Clermont Northeastern Local School District is seeking three dedicated and motivated Paraprofessionals to join our team. As an integral part of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and develop important life skills.
Responsibilities:

* Perform various duties as assigned by the school administration and special education teachers, including but not limited to:

+ Assisting students with special needs with daily living skills, academic tasks, and behavioral support

+ Providing one-on-one instruction and small group instruction to students

+ Maintaining accurate and detailed records of student progress and behavior

+ Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

+ Supporting the implementation of behavioral interventions and strategies

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Ability to successfully pass a BCI/FBI screening

* Ability to obtain a paraprofessional license through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Development

* Prior experience working with students with special needs preferred but not required

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
