Associate Optometrist

At LensCrafters, we are seeking an Associate Optometrist to join our team in Middletown, NY. As a leader in the organization, you will deliver the brand promise and experience to our patients, while maximizing results and practice growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team.
Responsibilities:

* Ensure executional excellence and winning results in partnership with the MOD and store team

* Demonstrate commitment to exceed results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability

* Ensure the brand is known as the leading optical provider within the community

* Operate as a successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market

* Place the patient/customer first and deliver excellent service

* Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs

* Convey a commitment to providing unsurpassed patient service through ensuring staff performs the following service process steps:

+ Address all patients/customers' visual lifestyle needs

+ Make eyewear recommendations based on patients/customers' needs

+ Explain each step of the eye exam; listen carefully to patients/customers

+ Utilize available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patients understand each aspect of their vision, eye health, and overall well-being

+ Communicate effectively with patients the need for annual eye exams

+ Conducts all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care

+ Ensures all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations

+ Establishes a positive doctor/patient relationship

+ Utilizes and leverages effectively all technology to deliver unsurpassed patient/customer experiences

+ Ensures office systems are maintained

+ Maintains State Licensure in good standing and practices to the full scope of that license, responsible for maintaining Continuing Education requirements

* Provide effective training and guidance to team members making use of Company provided programs

* Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback in a timely manner to all associates

* Create a positive culture linked to the corporate culture; identifies what motivates each individual and directs conversations and actions appropriately

* Encourages associate decision making at the level closest to the patient

* Maximizes partnerships through leadership, participation, and involvement

* Takes pride in the appearance of the office

* Maintains a safe working environment for all associates/patients

Qualifications:

* Doctor of Optometry

* Commitment to quality patient care

* Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology

* Strong communicator and listener

* Problem-solving ability

* Solid organization skills

Benefits:

* Pay Range: $61.90 - $71.30

* Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements
