Overview:


The Humanities & Social Sciences Program at Tulane University's School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) is seeking qualified individuals to join its part-time Adjunct Lecturer pool. As an Adjunct Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses in various humanities and social sciences disciplines.
Responsibilities:

* Teach undergraduate courses in humanities and social sciences, including but not limited to courses in Anthropology, Art History, Communication, English, Ethnic Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Urban Studies

* Develop and deliver curriculum-aligned course materials and assessments

* Maintain a student-centered and inclusive learning environment

* Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate relevant research and perspectives into teaching

* Participate in departmental and program activities as needed

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in a humanities or social sciences field; Ph.D. preferred

* University-level teaching experience is preferred
