The Department of Neurology at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a neuroimmunologist/multiple sclerosis neurologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be committed to teaching and research. The primary responsibilities will be to provide outpatient clinical practice at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie, LA, and to supervise residents and serve as an attending physician on the inpatient general neurology teaching service at University Medical Center New Orleans (UMCNO).
Responsibilities:

* Provide outpatient clinical practice at East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie, LA

* Supervise residents and serve as an attending physician on the inpatient general neurology teaching service at University Medical Center New Orleans (UMCNO)

* Participate in resident education and mentoring

* Contribute to the development of the multidisciplinary Neuroimmunology/MS Center of Excellence

* Collaborate with other neurologists and neuroscientists to advance the field of neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis research

Qualifications:

* Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) * Fellowship training in neuroimmunology or multiple sclerosis

* Eligibility to obtain a Louisiana medical license
