Trading Systems Developer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Trading Systems Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying trading systems to optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

* Modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance, or adapt to new hardware

* Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

* Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met

* Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design

* Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications

* Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required

* 3-8 years of experience in software development, preferably in trading systems development

* Strong knowledge of Trading Systems development

* Strong programming skills in C# and Java, with experience in GUI/S.S. and web services

* Experience with multi-threading and XML is a plus

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software, design techniques, and principles
