Outpatient Pharmacy Intern - PRN/Casual

Responsibilities:


As an Outpatient Pharmacy Intern, you will be involved in unique experiences such as Meds to Beds, pharmacy automation, compounding, pill packing, and caring for complex patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Providing a positive patient experience

* Delivering medications to discharging patients and counseling them on their medications

* Dispensing prescriptions to traditional patients seen in our clinics

* Administering vaccines

Qualifications:


To be considered for this role, you must:
* Be currently enrolled OR enrolled for the Fall semester in an ACPE Doctor of Pharmacy Program

* Be a licensed Nebraska Pharmacy Intern OR Registered as a Pharmacy Technician

* Have a high school education or equivalent

* Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients

* Demonstrate basic computer skills and use of typical office equipment

* Licensed Nebraska pharmacy intern(or within 45 days of the start of their pharmacist program), or registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy
