Postdoctoral Scholar-Electrical Engineering

Overview:


The Department of Electrical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park Campus, is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to join Dr. Yan Li's research group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of research projects in the areas of dynamics analysis of power systems, machine learning, cybersecurity, renewable energy, microgrids, and hardware-in-the-loop projects.
Responsibilities:

* Conduct research in one or more of the following areas: dynamics analysis of power systems, machine learning, cybersecurity, renewable energy, microgrids, and hardware-in-the-loop projects

* Document research results in refereed journal publications and present at seminars and conferences

* Assist with grant applications

* Supervise research of graduate students

* Work independently and participate in teamwork

Qualifications:


A Ph.D. in power systems or a closely related field is required by the start date. The successful applicant must have the ability to work independently and participate in teamwork.
