Overview:
Villanova University invites applications for an adjunct teaching position in Introductory American Sign Language (ASL) for undergraduate courses only, to begin fall 2018. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to ASL I (Fall Semester) and ASL II (Spring Semester) courses.
Responsibilities:
Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught. The instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and effective instructional materials, assessments, and evaluations.
Qualifications:
Deaf, ASL-fluent preferred; CODA considered. MA preferred but will consider BA or BS with evidence of teaching experience, not necessarily college. The applicant must be committed to excellence in teaching.
