Director of Financial Services

Overview:


The Director of Financial Services is responsible for leading the Financial Services Department at the University of Valley Forge, including training and developing team members to deliver consistent compliance and high satisfaction in both financial aid and student billing.
Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily operation of the Financial Services Offices, including managing staff, coordinating deadlines, and managing financial aid and student account applications. * Lead weekly departmental meetings, manage financial aid drawdown and student account application process, and oversee Title IV Aid administration and processing. * Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for strategic initiatives and important departmental objectives, and reconcile student account balance detail and federal and state funds drawn down. * Manage student accounts receivable, former student collections process, and department presence at University events. * Oversee training and professional development of department staff, coordinate with other University departments, and administer state grants. * Lead Financial Services date preparation for annual 1098-T generation, serve as primary destination point for Department of Education FSA Access, and oversee SAIG Gateway. * Perform other duties as assigned related to the success of the Financial Services Office.
Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree preferred with 5 years of financial aid experience. * High-energy individual with attention to detail, and the ability to organize effectively. * An openly committed Christian affirming a doctrinal position consistent with the Assemblies of God beliefs and able to support the mission of the University of Valley Forge.
