Psychiatrist: Adult Consultation Liaison

Overview:


MultiCare is seeking a Psychiatrist: Adult Consultation Liaison to participate in the development and deployment of an innovative hub-and-spoke consultation model and teaching service. This 1.0 FTE combined consult liaison psychiatrist & faculty role will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide service to 5 locations in the MultiCare Puget Sound region.
Responsibilities:

* Provide psychiatric consultation-liaison services for patients in acute care settings and emergency departments through assessments, diagnostics, consultations, and treatment recommendations

* Lead the care team in providing psychiatric consultation-liaison services

* Participate in teaching psychiatry residents in a new psychiatry residency training program

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide services to 5 locations in the MultiCare Puget Sound region

Qualifications:

* Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited adult psychiatry residency

* Current ABPN board certification in psychiatry

* Completion of ACGME accredited consultation-liaison psychiatry fellowship is a plus

Benefits:
