Occupational Therapist - Special Education

Overview:
The Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking a highly qualified Occupational Therapist - Special Education to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist - Special Education, you will work with pediatric clients to provide occupational therapy services in a school setting.
Responsibilities:

* Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric clients with a primary focus on pediatric clients

* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client

* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure client progress and success

* Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop treatment plans

* Document client progress and outcomes in accordance with district policies and procedures

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree with a major in occupational therapy

* Two (2) years of experience in providing occupational therapy with a primary focus on pediatric clients

* Valid certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association

* Licensure in the state of California by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

* Hold a valid California driver's license and provide personal automobile and proof of insurance
