Overview
The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine is seeking a General Pediatrician to provide direct patient care at the Pediatric Emergency Department and Observation Unit at Primary Children's Hospital's Salt Lake Campus and the Larry H. and Gayle Miller Primary Children's Hospital's Lehi Campus.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care to children 0-18 years and beyond, including chronic illness populations
* Work collaboratively with surgical and medical consultants to develop optimal plans of care and disposition plans
* Consultative assistance to clinics and outside emergency departments is expected
* Document all clinical care in the electronic medical record within 7 days or less of date of service
* Participate in academic, education, and service work outside of clinical care, including funded research, educational, advocacy, and administrative roles
Qualifications
* Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics
* Strong commitment to improving access to higher education, employment opportunities, and quality healthcare for historically underrepresented groups
