Temporary Recreation and Customer Service Positions at Sorenson Multicultural Center

Overview:


The Sorenson Multicultural Center is seeking temporary, part-time staff to work in various roles at our facility in Salt Lake City. As a temporary employee, you will be an "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and will work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
Responsibilities:


The following positions are available:
* Recreation: Youth Sports Jr. Jazz Officials / Scorekeepers / Site Supervisors/ Clinicians, Outdoor Soccer Helpers, Group Fitness Instructors (land)

* Customer Service Team: Morning and afternoon shifts, providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors

* Indoor Pool: Lifeguards, Head Lifeguards, Swim Instructors

* Custodian: Contracted through Varsity, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility

Qualifications:

* Be reliable, motivated, and people-friendly

* Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements
