Overview:
Our Lady of the Lake University is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor of Biology to join our Mathematics and Sciences Department, starting Fall 2016. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for teaching a range of biology courses to students at various levels, from non-majors to biology majors.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present lectures and labs for various biology courses, including Introduction to Evolution, Introduction to Life Sciences, General Biology I and II, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and Molecular/Cell Biology
* Maintain availability to students during the week, with a minimum of one hour per week
* Work closely with course and laboratory coordinators to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for students
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Biology or a related field; PhD in Biology or a related field is preferred
* Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of biology concepts and pedagogy
* Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
