Software Developer Mid-level (II) Custom Computer Programming Services

Overview:


ProSidian Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer Mid-level (II) to provide IT System Lifecycle Development and Management Support Services to the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining CFSAN's systems and applications in the FDA technical environment.
Responsibilities:

* Configure, modify, implement, and maintain CFSAN's systems and applications in the FDA technical environment

* Interface with various applications and systems

* Provide technical expertise and support for system development lifecycle activities, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and validation, system design, code generation, testing, deployment, and documentation

* Develop, support, and evolve designs, customizations, and process automation, such as interfaces, templates, scripts, workflows, and reports

* Provide training services to CFSAN stakeholders for existing applications, application changes, or newly developed applications

* Ensure the "lights on" availability, reliability, and security of CFSAN's IT portfolio through operations and maintenance support services

Qualifications:

* Expertise and experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and applications in the FDA technical environment

* Strong programming skills and experience with custom computer programming services

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
