Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Kansas Cancer Center and The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an outstanding medical physicist to join our faculty at the Clinical Instructor/Assistant Professor level. This position will be primarily located at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS.
Responsibilities:

* Provide medical physics services to support radiation oncology clinical programs

* Participate in the development and implementation of new treatment techniques and technologies

* Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other medical physicists to ensure high-quality patient care

* Conduct research in medical physics and publish results in peer-reviewed journals

* Teach and mentor students, residents, and other medical physicists

* Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities

Qualifications:

* Master's or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or a related field

* Completion of a CAMPEP-accredited residency program in medical physics

* Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Therapeutic Medical Physics
