Assistant Coach, Track & Field - Tracy High School

Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Coach to join our Track & Field team at Tracy High School. As an Assistant Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our student-athletes and contributing to the success of our athletic program.
Responsibilities:

* Assist the Head Coach in planning and implementing practice sessions and game strategies

* Provide coaching and guidance to student-athletes on track and field events

* Monitor and evaluate student-athlete performance and provide feedback for improvement

* Assist with team management, including scheduling, transportation, and communication with parents and administrators

* Comply with all district and state regulations regarding coaching, including obtaining necessary certifications and approvals

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

* Prior coaching experience in track and field or a related sport

* Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED and TB clearance required

* Completion of General Coaching Course, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training, Concussion Training, Heat Illness training, and Water Safety Certification (if applicable) required

* Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
