Quick Lane Technician
Our Quick Lane service center specializes in fast and efficient vehicle maintenance and repairs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Quick Lane Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional automotive care.
As a Quick Lane Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are serviced promptly and efficiently. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent technical skills, and a genuine commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quick lube and oil change services using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct tire rotations, brake inspections, and other basic maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair minor automotive issues, including battery replacements and fluid top-ups.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, including tools and equipment.
- Communicate with service advisors to provide updates on vehicle status and recommended services.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive education or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
