REQUIREMENTS: Earned doctorate from a regionally accredited university in a field of study that is represented within the academic college. Three years of successful academic experience in higher education at the level of Department Chair or higher. Tenured faculty members, with faculty rank commensurate with job responsibilities. Evidence of professional and scholarly activity. Understanding of shared governance, academic personnel issues, curricular matters and budgeting. Effective leadership and communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to gain grants, contracts, and other external resources for the units within the academic college.
