Keeps up to date on competition including their strengths and weaknesses. Identify ways to overcome any objections.
Actively participate in any in-house marketing events.
Actively participate in generating resident and prospect referrals
Actively participate in any community outreach efforts.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
Bachelor's degree (emphasis in sales/marketing preferred).
Two years' experience in marketing/sales and/or knowledge of senior living industry.
Ability to demonstrate good judgement, time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Provide all eligible new hires benefits packets and ensure receipt documentation is placed in file.
Assist with reconciling timecards, and hire/referral bonus, for accuracy before submitting payroll. Ensure all time edit data entries are accompanied by the completed time edit sheets. (Signed/dated by both the employee and supervisor)
Assist with employees' training, including recordkeeping for the personnel file.
Tracks employee renewals for specific certifications/licenses/TB.
Track and monitor hours worked by minors in accordance with State/Federal labor laws.
Assist with retention efforts, planning, and preparation of employee engagement functions at the Community.
Assist with community communication, staff meetings and posting notices in employee break room.
Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

High school diploma required.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
A minimum of one year's experience in a Human Resources department or similar work preferred.

Ensure that the Advances Directives are complete and maintained and placed in resident charts.
Completes all mandatory documentation in a timely (determined) manner as established by applicable regulations.
Maintains confidentiality of all admissions information and resident records following HIPPA and the community's Code of Ethics.
Coordinates discharges/transfers to ensure the appropriateness and continiuity od care. Develops a comprehensive discharge plan in coordination with residents/families and multidisciplinary staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, Gerontology or related field. Must be a licensed Social Worker (in current state of residence)
At Least 2 Years experience, in a healthcare setting (preferably Long-Term Care) working directly with residents and families.

Reports medication errors or reactions to medications immediately to the charge nurse, who, in turn, reports to the resident's attending physician and completes the necessary documentation.
Performs accurate pulse and blood pressure and recognizes their significance in drug therapy.
Administers PRN medication only under the following directives.
Signs and has access to the controlled schedule drug cabinet.
Administers medication only upon a written physician's order.
Requirements (general):
Prior geriatric experience is preferred.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Requirements of position:
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting; may be exposed to blood and body fluids which may contain HIV and/or HBV; must be able to transport residents via wheelchair, geri-chair or shower chair, pushing up to 150 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to transfer, lift, turn and position a resident weighing up to 125 lbs. unassisted, or with the assistance of one for a resident weighing over 125 lbs. Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, squat, stand, and walk for up to 90% of the workday. May be subjected to offensive odors and combative behavior. Must be able to reach up to a level of six feet; must be able to push a dietary cart up to 40 lbs unassisted. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the overall planning and implementation of a varied activity program designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Activities Assistant:
Assists with planning, coordinating activities: reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outside trips, special events, and one-to-one visits, as indicated.
Assists with preparing and distributing the monthly calendar and newsletter.
Assists with purchasing supplies for activities as needed.
Distributes mail daily to residents.
Performs and directs the movement of residents to and from recreational areas.
Announces scheduled activities over the intercom at least fifteen minutes prior to the activity.
Directs volunteer activities, enlists their support, and coordinates their efforts; provides training and supervision of volunteers.
Maintains accurate documentation of resident's activity attendance.
Plans and coordinates activities in the absence of the Activity Coordinator.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
High School degree required.
One year's experience in a social or recreational program in a licensed health care setting preferred.
Background in music, art, drama, and dance therapy preferred.
