Who We Need:
We are looking for an experienced, Network Support to:
- Install audio/visual (TV, IPTV, Display Boards, projectors, NetBots) cabling and termination.
- Perform routine installation of terminal servers, bridges, modems, wireless devices, routers, data switches.
- Perform troubleshooting and/or resolution of noncritical system failures/bottlenecks.
- Remove and replace non-critical defective applications and equipment.
- Perform routine designing, installing, running, termination and testing of infrastructure cabling (copper and fiber).
- Document assigned network trouble issues and changes.
- Inspect data, voice, and audio/visual infrastructure and fix minor or non-critical problems/bugs.
- Enter and update assigned trouble calls into the MHSSHD for workload tracking.
- Assist with management/deployment of IP telephony hard and soft clients.
- Run MDF/IDF jumpers and/or patch cables.
- Perform MDF/IDF closet clean up and maintenance.
- Run lines and replace cords to phones as needed and re-terminate RJ-11/RJ45 and inspect and replace modular phone jacks.
- Track and organize tools, test equipment, and bench stock materials. Contractor shall report inventories/status to 59 MDW primary or alternate Telephone Control Officer.
- Perform routine battery back-up (uninterrupted power supply) maintenance and/or replacement.
- Provide a status report to section Chief.
- Work with BMETS personnel if assigned troubles ticket requires.
- Maintain the Main Distribution Frame and Intermediate Distribution Frame.
- Provide inter-agency coordination and assistance to afford a smooth transition for routing circuits, diagnostic assistance, and interconnects for circuits.

Service Employees Qualifications
- Network Operations Specialist.
- KSATs include: 903, 989, 1034A, 1034C
- Certification level is IAT II
- Ruckus with Extreme Networks, Cisco, and Aruba equipment also in use.
